JAYA - PARADISE BOAT TRIPS

The Ship

 
Jaya is an Indonesian Phinisi built by a mixture of traditional and modern techniques customized for the Asian waters.


She was built in 1999 as a dive exploration vessel, we have since then sailed, dived and surfed threw Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand discovering new destinations and evolving known destinations.

We have full dive live aboard facilities aboard with 2 compressors 2 dinghy’s and charging stations for your cameras.

The cabins are divided in double cabins with twin and double bunks all cabins with 24hours running marine fans. On deck we have a big shaded relax area. We take maximum 12 guests.


The trip

 
The trip is 7 full days and 8 nights in total leaving 16.00 form Teluk Nara and ends in Gilis early morning 8 days later the schedule is flexible depending on weather and diving conditions but roughly looks like this,

 

Itinerary

Day1, getting on the boat in late afternoon setting up dive equipment and checking in to cabin, leaving at sunset and having dinner on the boat.

Travelling over night.

 
Day 2, arrives in Moyo for a dive in the morning at Medang, traveling threw the day and then afternoon dive and sunset at Satonda. Traveling over night to sangean.

 

Day 3, Morning dive at bubble reef in north sangean then sailing down to Banta for second dive at gps point and arriving in Komodo late in the evening.

 

Day 4, Early morning for park registration and guided dragon safari in Komodo. Then 3 dives in the rest of the day anchoring in Komodo bay at night.

 

Day 5, 3 dives in Komodo and anchoring in Labuan bajo for night.

 

Day 6, 3 dives in komodo and anchoring in north Komodo.

 

Day 7, Diving Banta in the morning then travelling threw the day to Sangean for late afternoon dive in Sangean house reef. Traveling over night.

 

Day 8, Morning dive in Hajis reef then land tour followed by afternoon dive at the Moyo wall. Night sailing for Gillis.

 

Day 9, Disembarking on Gilis in the morning.

 

The trip starts and ends in Teluk Nara, meeting point for the departure is on the ship in Teluk Nara at 16.00 on the departure date.

Please don’t book any flights out of Lombok until the afternoon so there is some time for unforeseen events.

 

Price and Payment
 

The cost of the trip is $1050 usd per person plus park fee and eventual equipment rental for diving. A 20% ($210usd) deposit is paid when booking and the last 80% ($840usd) plus park fee is paid while entering the ship. Drinks and night dives is paid after the trip.

For private charter the whole boat can be rented for $1500 usd per day.

 

What’s included.
 

On the trip we will do 17 dives threw some on Indonesia’s finest dive waters.  Food, soft drinks, snacks, coffee and tea is all included.

Transport from Trawangan to Nara is arranged with departure from Trawangan at 15.30pm.
Meeting point is at the pier (or in the dive shop).

 

What’s not included:
 

Beer is for sale aboard for 15.000rp and will be paid in the end of the trip. Komodo national Park fees are 300.000rp and will be paid while getting on the boat. Dive equipment can be rented for 50usd for the whole trip. Optional night dives can be made on request, and costs 30usd per dive
